  • This Chinatown shop was something I accidentally came across whilst perusing Yelp one day, and was amused by the endless stream of 5-star reviews (that I'm adding to). This can't be real, right? I kept it in mind for the next time I needed passport photos done, just to check it out for myself what keeps everyone raving about. Besides, I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever again pay $25 at Black's for some silly mugshots of meself not wearing glasses cuz some government smuck says I have to do it their way (ridiculous as it may be). Oh you know it's so legit you can't quit when you see Yelp stickers on the door upon going upstairs, yo. And for a 15-minute $9 job, it was no-nonsense great! It was friendly, it was straightforward and quick. All the guy does is take photographs for government ID purposes, and that keeps the whole operation simple. For a highly rated business, this is so low-key, it's unbelievable. If you are walking on Spadina towards here, be sure you're at the St. Andrew Street intersection. Chances are you may get confused by other businesses along Chinatown advertising $6.99 passport photos and the like. Dunno how good they are, but they are not the Passport Photo we're talking about here, right? I still cannot recognize myself sans eyeglasses. I look too weird.
