  • Five girlfriends and I got together for the 3-hour kayaking adventure, and it was so much fun! Our guides, Ryan and Chase, were easygoing, explained things well, had lot of knowledge about the area, had a good sense of humor, and were fun to be around. The double kayaks we chose were easy to maneuver, as it appeared the singles also were for the rest of our group of ten people. The lake was beautiful and fairly calm, and the water was refreshingly cool and even clear-- not what I expected for the Colorado River. The 3-hour tour was just right for us, as none of us are extremely athletic, though none of us are princesses, either (contrary to the joke of the day by our guides!) The experience was really a wonderful one, and one I would recommend to anyone, locals or tourists alike. Honestly, I cannot wait to get my family back out on the river for another adventure. I can imagine that the day-long one, with I assume its view of the memorial bridge and Hoover Dam, must be absolutely amazing. A high recommend for a friend or family outing!
