  • I stumbled upon this place looking through yelp and scrolling until something caught my eye. I have to admit I researched a lot on this place, reading yelps and looking at the website and calling the M haha. I pretty much was a pro after all the research. I called earlier in the day and made a reservation with the concierge. My fiancĂ© and I love wine and we both had yet to do a sampling. The wine cellar is located straight through the lobby. Down 2 flights of stairs. First impression walking in, I loved it!!! Just as i imagined it, with the help of photos... it was very dim lighting. There was no hostess so I do not think my reservation was needed but they thought it probably made me feel better so took it anyway.. So from reading reviews the server service is a little up and down... so we headed straight to the bar and obtained a wine card from the bartender. He explained how it works, activation, the minimum, etc. We put $25 on it to start... We walked around a bit. Glasses are located on top of the machines and you can grab a new one after every sampling. I think we sampled a total of 5 1 oz. wines. A couple I loved some didn't care too much for... we sat down on the couches and ordered some apps. Now if you go 7-8pm appetizers are half off. And seriously this is such a deal!! There food was great, oysters were amazing. Clam chowder had chunks of everything and calamari was tasty especially with the spicy sauce. My overall experience wasn't anything to rave about nor was it terrible. Service is a bit slow and it was a quiet night but we were in no rush.. prices for the sampling are a bit steep... my sample pour was a sip and next time I may just order a glass instead. I'm not a huge fan of the gamble. Spending money on a wine I may not like... But all in all I'm glad I got to enjoy an experience like this. We will definitely make a visit again.
