  • Had a pedicure today, my first here, and it was underwhelming. I had a groupon for a Hot Stone pedicure and their website stated it included "Hot Stone Massage, Hot wax & Foot Scrub". When I got there the descriptions were completely different and paraffix wax was an additional $10, which I declined. The scrub job was very, very poor. The hot stone massage was nothing to write home about and the girl literally followed a preset process in a mind-numbing fashion. Importantly, the girl was a bit careless with the cuticle cutter and now an hour later my skin around the toenails are smarting and irritated. I was in and out in a flash. I did give a good tip only because I didn't want to be THAT groupon customer but I honestly didn't feel like tipping. I'm just glad I didn't pay more than I would have for an express pedicure.
