  • You know for people who don't work off commission, they sure do say it a lot... My brother and I took our good friend who was looking to purchase his first pistol and decided to give Spartan Arms a try. The gentleman was a bit pushy and kept pushing my friend to buy a compact pistol even though we expressed our interest in a full size. When we asked the gentleman what he carried, he proceeded to pull out his 1911 pistol, cleared it, and laid it on the table. The first thing my brother noticed that this gentleman had FMJ (ball ammo) ammo in his self defense firearm. My brother and I were a very confused on how someone who claims to be ex-military and law enforcement could carry non-self defense ammo in his everyday carry pistol.... We proceeded to leave Spartan Arms and purchase somewhere else... This was also awhile ago but I have not gone back since.... They do however have a great selection to choose from and the prices are very comparable to others. I have many friends who shop here and will only shop here, I however will not.
