  • Very professional and fast! Our very old furnace needed service and a Nevada Energy tech came out to work on it. He obviously didn't know what he was doing when; after he left, our house started filling up with smoke... I unplugged the furnace and found most of the wiring had started to melt. Long story short, he put the vented panel back in the wrong place so no air was able to vent the furnace (it's about 25 years old, new furnaces don't have this issue I don't think). As for the Nevada Energy people, I won't use them again. I immediately called NRS and they were able to get Chris to come out and fix everything within a few hours. He did a fantastic job of replacing the wiring and also sharing some of his insight about HVAC systems. He appeared to have tons of experience and it looked as though he enjoyed his job. I really appreciate hiring someone with a good attitude. Thank you Chris.
