I am not one to go and write reviews of companies but this company is definitely due one. My granddaughter's mother took her to Charlotte Optometric Eye Clinic for an eye exam. After the exam she was fit for glasses. The doctor told my daughter in law that as young as she was it could go either way but she would definitely need them later on and ask my daughter in law if she really wanted her to have them. I took my granddaughter to pick up the glasses. After they put the glasses on they never did an eye test to even see how she was seeing with the glasses on. After questioning the woman that gave me the glasses I felt a little concerned. When I watched my granddaughter in the glasses the glasses were obviously for someone with a lot larger face and my granddaughter seemed to have problems walking in the glasses. I decided to take the glasses off of my granddaughter and made her an appointment with a different optometrist. I went in and did not indicate to this optometrist that I had taken her someone else. She told me that she would need glasses for reading and tv/computer work. At this point I pulled the glasses out that were prescribed to my granddaughter from Charlotte Optometric Eye Clinic and explained the situation to the optometrist and ask her if she could test the glasses and tell me what the problem was. She indicated that the glasses were the exact opposite of what she needed. That my granddaughter is far sighted and the glasses I had in my hand were for someone that is nearsighted. If you are thinking of taking your child here please think again. They could have done some real damage to my granddaughter's vision.
