@cirque #zarkana My first ever Cirque du Soleil show!
During my recent trip to Vegas, I went go go see Zarkana at Aria with my cousins. I learned from my taxi car driver that this is the newest of the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas and so I was super excited.
The show was an amazing array of bright colors and unique acts full of cool effects including some fire! Some of the interesting sights included juggling, aerial rope acts, short flag throwing, tight rope walking, balancing on ladders, sand painting, trapeze and a spinning "Wheel of Death." The sand painting was one of my favorites! It was neat to watch as a lady use a light table to paint various scenes and then the painting was reflected on a big circular screen for the audience. The "Wheel of Death" was cool too! Two guys walked on a rotating wheel and there was a electrical shock kinda effect in the background. Not only were the various acts really neat, they were super entertaining too! Some of the portions were even funny, especially the ones with clowns! The clowns gave a good comedy effect and they brought out a lot of audience participation.
There was also plenty of music in the show! There was singing and piano playing! Each different act's music went well with the particular act.
I really enjoyed Zarkana! It was a great Cirque du Soleil show and watching it definitely made for a great night in Vegas!
