| - We loved almost everything about the Wynn. It generally will ruin you for all the other casino hotels.
The rooms (huge and super high ceilings), the baths, the room technology, the service, the beds, the restaurants (pricey but good), the decor, the pool the casino, the stores (! the stores! Penhaligon at Apothecary...I hadn't found it in the US and always have to order online)- all far supersede any other hotel I've been in on the strip (Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, Paris.) Beautiful place and we got put on the 60th floor with a stunning view for a birthday. Much more tasteful than most other casinos.
HowEVER. Our stay was seriously marred by a bunch of really young kids (children are not permitted in the hot tub, clearly shown in the signs) in the hot tub at the pool. We mentioned something to the lifeguard, who followed us to the hot tub, looked at the group of 7-10 year olds in the hot tub, and walked away. Thats it. I have no idea what she did from there but nothing changed. Oh, and about a minute after she walked away? One of the kids started doing snot shots in the hot tub.
Yes, really, a 10 year old doing snot shots in the hot tub at the Wynn. There you have it.
