  • I have consigned clothes for years & have also sold clothing at various locations throughout the Valley of the Sun, as I have lived in the Phoenix Metro area for many years. However, I was relatively disappointed with Urban Xchange. First of all, I felt that when I took really quality items into the store to sell, the buyers not only didn't buy them back from me, but were also really rude about the entire process, & behaved as though it was an inconvenience for them to wait on me or look through my stack of items to sell. I understand that as a buyer, you have to be selective and choosy in picking what you're going to buy so as to avoid an influx of inventory that is destined to just sit on the racks, but I also believe in customer service and felt that the sales associates and buyers at this location were lacking in that area, at best. I also felt that the sales associates were rude on another occasion when I purchased items & tried on clothing. Again, they acted like it was a chore to help customers, which didn't sit right with me.
