| - Guess I will tell how I got my self into this mess from beginning to end. I was referred to Western Dental and was needing couple back teeth pulled and other work done. I called and made an appointment with them on February 4th 2016. I went to my appointment and they did there routine for new patients, which is free exam. The Dentist examined my mouth and told the assistant what needed to be done so she could put info in computer. When done they talk to me about the work that was needed and asked what I wanted done first. I had already let them know I was paying cash for all my work so I wanted to get the teeth out that were bothering me. The Dentist said when they take teeth out you have a couple options. Options, crowns, bridges, or implants, he explained how each option worked. I asked more info about the implants and he said they could put bone grafts in after they pull the teeth so that way if I ever wanted to get I plants I could. This sounded scary to me so I said I didn't know what I wanted to do as far as that yet. So I spoke with the assistant she started to break everything down to show me prices, and to put me on a payment plan. I told her the things I wanted to focus on was the extractions and fillings. After going over couple options she finally put together a contract with what I thought was just the work I asked for. I gave her my credit card info to set up for my installments. She gave me my paper and said it was just the info we went over and the payment info and had me sign it. She gave me a copy and gave they had the other copy. I get home and look over everything, I see the bone grafts on the contract. I call the office and told them that the bone grafts were said to be an option. And I never said I was going to go through with them yet. I explained again my main focus, to get the extractions for the back teeth that were causing me pain. I told her I wanted to do a new contract with just the extractions and after that I would do another with the fillings. Just to keep everything broken down more. The young girl told me that the payment info was already put through so she was having the girl who set it up see what she could do. She told me to call back about the new contract and to see if they were able to get the scheduled payment off. I called back to cancel my appointment for the work I needed done under the old contract. I also talk to them about canceling the scheduled payment agreement, and they said they didn't do anything about payment because the management was the only one who could cancel a contract. They told me she wasn't in and I needed to call Monday to speak with her. I called Monday February 8 to speak with management about getting old contract cancelled and to set up a new one with the work I wanted first. I was put on hold for 15 min. I waited on hold while getting in to my car and driving down to the office. I was still on hold once I made it to the office then hung up after 25 min. No patients were waiting to be seen so I didn't understand the wait. I told the receptionist who I was and what I wanted to do so she pulled up my info then said ok just talk to the next receptionist which was right next to her. I explained to the other girl everything and she said well our management is in her office if you want to wait I can go explain to her. I said ok I will wait for you to do that. I waited 30 min, after looking at my phone when she came out. She came out and handed me a paper which looked like the contract that I had before, but instead of having charges for the work I needed done it was all zeroed out. She said she cancelled the contract and that the paper she gave me was my copy and that I was all set. I ended up getting a ill in the mail a couple weeks later for $130.00 saying it was the first installment of the total $2415.00, and that it was due on March 5th. I called the number on the bill mid February and they said that this was an active account and that payment will come out March 5th. I explained everything to the billing department and they said that they have people who finds out if you got work done and they can take charge off if you didn't, but they were not in. I had to call back and they said that they see I only got the free exam and they would go ahead and cancel it now. I thought this was the end of it, but it got worse from here. I get an email about a authorization of purchase from guess who? Western Dental for the amount of $130.00. I called March 5th and asked why they were taking a payment out of my account for work that wasn't done. They said that my account was closed and there shouldn't be any payment. I told them I checked my credit card transactions and it was a pending charge from them. The rep said she was going to send message to billing department to get it taken care of. Calls after calls, still don't know why they are taking money. Never again will I visit this place. 1 star only because I have to I order to continue with my review
