I came here with my friends and we each grabbed a different flavour to try. Apparently, Their tapiocas were made fresh every day. Upon arrival, we already saw the staff feeding a piece of dough into their machine. We were immediately intrigued so we all grabbed our phones to capture this moment. The tapioca balls which looked like flour at this stage got spat out from the machine one by one. It was fascinating to see how these tapiocas were made. I had a hard time deciding what I should order and found their menu quite confusing. some specialty drinks already came with flavored tapiocas but that was not communicated on the menu unless you asked the staff. If a drink does not come with tapiocas, you could add flavoured tapiocas for extra cost. Their tapiocas cost more than other bubble tea joints out there. I tried their sesame rice latte with minimal sugar. The drink came with sesame tapiocas already so I didn't have to order them on top. The sesame tapiocas tasted great, nutty and have subtle sesame flavour. The texture and feel reminded me very much like eating "tong yuens" gluttonous rice balls, very soft unlike other the texture from other bbt joints. The rice latte was a bit bland but when combined with the sesame tapiocas, it was quite a balanced and refreshing drink. The cactus tapiocas were interesting and tasted really fresh but I wouldn't order it for its price. Overall, OneZo is a decent bubble tea joint and I'd come here if I'm craving for flavoured tapiocas.
