I have to be honest, the initial reaction based on the name, location and decor was very positive. It seems like a nice doggie boutique. If I were running in to buy my pup a bone or toy, I would definitely have a positive reaction.
In terms of the haircut and grooming, my experience was beyond sub-par. When I went to pick up Bruno (my chorkie) there were multiple spots that were not cut. I called and they were very polite and offered to fix. I explained I liked the length, however there were areas that were missed. All that was needed was to take a trimmer to the missed areas. It was clear all parties were very aware of my request as it was repeated back to me confidently.
When I returned, the areas that I mentioned were completely shaved down to Bruno's skin (I posted a photo on their Yelp page labeled "Bruno's bad haircut").
When we called the owner was very rude. She said that I had wanted the cut shorter and so therefore this was on me. I explained again that that was not the conversation, which she did not agree with. She did not offer to bring him in in the future to make things right, did not apologize, but insisted she did as requested. Does this photo really look like something a dog owner would request? Umm, I think not.
As I type he's currently pushing his neck and face into the carpet. He's obviously affected negatively by this. I will not be returning.
