  • I received a hair color today by Gara, and I was not pleased, but the nervous people I am, I was too afraid to say anything. I came back to my dorm, and my roommate saw the atrocity of my hair, and decided to Call Lando herself. Gara picked up, and my roommate asked if it would be possible for her to re-do my hair (since i wasn't pleased) but Gara responded with "I don't want to talk to you [my roommate]", which I believe is a very odd response. Due to this, my roommate left a bad Yelp review. Previously, I had chatted with Gara during my hair appointment just about life in general, and I did mention a few personal things about my roommate. That maybe wasn't the brightest idea, but I felt as if talking to a hairdresser about personal things is never a big deal, everyone does it usually. Anyways, after the Yelp review by my roommate was posted, Gara CALLED my roommate (she had her number from the call earlier), and told my roommate everything i mentioned about her. This is not a normal practice from a hairdresser, and I feel as if that is an invasion of both me and my roommates privacy. Super unfair and rude! UPDATE: two days have passed, and she told my roommate she would fully refund my money and is not denying it. She is refusing the refund me, but she did not do to my hair what i showed in the picture/ what she told me she would achieve. Do not go to this salon. Childish and unfair.
