Part of me would have loved to blade along the shore; the other part was aghast at seeing a playground so close to a street as busy as the QEW. My kids may be past the age where running into traffic is a concern, but it still made my skin crawl as a parent and a driver. There are better playgrounds for children nearby like High Park with more to do, and a greater sense of escaping into nature.
I do like that Toronto is squeezing as many parks in as possible, and maintaining an attractive shoreline, but I think this park is better for older kids and adults who just want to walk or get some exercise along the shore.
