  • The California Hotel and Casino has been renovated and looks great! We join the regulars from Hawaii who feel so comfortable staying here. This cafe was spiffed up by the renovation, with the same floor plan. The menu is still the same and the servers are all our longtime "friends". Meal coupons are still used for the Hawaii residents' package and selections such as loco moco, Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice can be enjoyed by the Hawaiians as well as oxtail soup topped with grated ginger during the graveyard hours and sweet miso butterfish during dinner time.
