| - I came in today around 10. And I was greeted friendly by "Carol" / CAROLYN ALONZO. She started out friendly, until she realized that I came to request a name change for my receiver for Western Union (since WU customer service told me that they wouldn't be able to change it over the phone; but instead I needed to go to a WU branch for ID verification and transaction purposes).
Anyways. Carolyn then proceeded to switch up on her fake friendly customer service attitude, to being a total B. She gave me smart remarks like
"I need your ID" with a big attitude, and then when I showed her, she told me she needed to see my reciept. And before I could even open my phone to show her my email receipt from WU, she gave me another smart A remark (thinking it would turn me away) by saying "You MUST have your receipt, I can't take your request without a receipt, come back when you have a receipt."
Come to her surprise, I pulled out my phone and showed her my confirmation email with WU. And she then got more aggetated and impatient, and tried to persuay me to leave one more time by telling me that "You need to wait 10 mins or even up to 30, because I HAVE to HELP the first customer ." I told her it was no problem for me and I would patiently wait, and that all I wanted was just a simple name change, so that my aunt can have some money for my cousin's birthday. And you know what ? She proceeded to sigh so hard as if I was the biggest pain for her, with her heavy breath, and them teeth tho. Very disturbing. All while rolling her eyes that I refuse to leave.
So I waited until the first customer was finish with his transaction. And then she proceeded to help me with mine. All while giving me an attitude through out the whole process. The whole time, she kept making weird noises as if she was heavily annoyed and burden with the situation, and rolling her eyes.
And what's funny is, while she was on the phone with WU customer service, she turned around to her co worker; and God Knows what she was joking and laughing about, and then proceeded to turn around towards me and then in a high tone voice tell me "UMM! IM ON HOLD WITH WU OKAY? BE PATIENT." And at this time I was very irritated and upset. Because first of all, I had no issues with her. But unfortunately she has an issue with me or my situation.
But regardless if she has an issue with me or my situation, she still needs to do her job and do it professionally. Because that is her job and that is what's REQUIRED. Handling all this is part of your job! People come here for help, and you don't turn anyone away! You don't give attitude , making grunt, moaning, disgusting noises, and eye rolling. You don't talk to people in a manner that is disrespectful.
CAROLYN ALONZO, you will deff hear from me complaining to your Corporate. I have tried calling the customer service hotline, but today the office is close. So on Monday, when I wake up, first thing I will do is call them. Because I shouldn't have to feel or deal with this mess. Nor anyone else.
I will DEFF not come back to Check City no more, because of this situation. Nor will I recommend my friends or family. I don't suggest going here, because you might get treated how I got treated.
Tasteless and un classy.
This post doesn't even deserve one star, it should be all negatives.
