  • I cannot begin to express enough gratitude to Dr. Katz and staff. My daughter (age 15 at the time) suffered from severe eczema. We had been to Dr. Tottori several times, as well as several dermatologists to no avail. We were told repeatedly it was just your "garden variety eczema," prescribed more & more steroids, & sent on our way. Nothing helped. A friend suggested Dr. Katz so we decided to give him a try. If this didn't work, we were planning on taking her to UCLA or Mayo. Instinctively I knew it was allergies, but I didn't know what she was allergic to. Finally a doctor who suggested a full allergy work up & he told me he'd stop at nothing until the problem was solved. The allergy testing wasn't cheap, but we had no choice, it had to be done. Within weeks we had a cause for her eczema (grass) & her skin was clear. It has been over a year & her skin has remained clear with over the counter allergy pills he told her to use once the cause was determined. Thank you so much to Dr. Katz & Brenda!!! I see lots of reviews complaining about their insurance not paying- well it's your job to know your benefits, not the doctor's. Also, we were given the option of doing immunotherapy which would've been over $1,000. We opted not to because the allergy meds were working just fine. It's a patient's choice. Ask questions & know your benefits.
