I've taken the kids here a couple times already but decided to finally write a review. The staff is always very nice, they give locals a discount ($5 per adult). Their hours are very limited - make sure you check the website for hours and plan accordingly.
To my understanding, this exhibit used to be at the MGM and they used to truck the lions back and fourth but now they just keep the lions here.
No need to pack a bag lunch for this place, it's not very big. I can't see someone spending more than an hour or two here. They do have many lions on the premises as well as a super cool giraffe (named Ozzie) that you can feed expensive lettuce to - (perhaps a once in a lifetime experience?) and different birds and ostriches.
So you can feed a lion or a giraffe for extra cost and there's also a small gift shop to spice up your visit but that's about it. I also believe you can watch Ozzie paint a painting every couple hours or so.
I think the overall price ($20/head even with locals discount) is kinda steep for a lion exhibit that's about half the size of a Costco is kinda steep. But a fun activity for the kids none the less.
