  • I would not recommend using this branch at all, don't want to speak badly of the company and would use them again, I would just call a different franchise. I had the owner come over and do an onsite quote about a month before I moved. Jim walked around my house and gave me a quote, when the time came to move, I had already moved a 14 foot uhaul 3 times and sold thousands of dollars worth of stuff, so my house was literally half empty when the movers came, they even commented how most of the stuff was gone. The quote I got from Jim was for 7 hours at $89 an hour plus a $109 traveling feel. When I noticed it had been 10 hours and the movers were nowhere near done I called Jim to see how he was so off on his quote and that I felt he pulled a bait and switch. I just asked him how I could get rid of half my stuff and it end up taking twice as long as his quote? He then threw his workers under the bus and said there is no way they should have taken that long and they must be working slowly and he would talk with them. I then told his workers what Jim said about them and they responded not too kindly about their employer. Those 2 guys busted their ass on a VERY hot day, I felt bad for them having to work for such a guy. Instead of saying he was sorry he just asked if I couldn't afford to pay for them to continue that he would pull them off the job and that he has done over 30,000 moves in his life and blah blah blah. They workers themselves were fantastic but I would never give this guy my money again. Treats his employees and client's like garbage. Hope those guys moved on to another company that would respect them a little more, wouldn't surprise me if they already have.
