| - After seeing all of the great reviews, we knew we couldn't miss trying this place out. We came for a weekday lunch and were seated outside, but still in the shade. It was a great atmosphere, but the tables were so close together that, when the two parties at the tables next to us were seated, there was no way I could get up to use the restroom without making someone else get up from their table to let me pass by. The server was friendly and knowledgable and willing to give recommendations on his favorite and the most popular dishes. We shared the mussels, the salmon tartare, and the steak au poivre. The salmon was good and fresh, but there was nothing special about it to elevate the dish as I had expected. The steak was very good and tender and the sauce flavorful, but I think if you're a huge steak person (as in you search out great steaks on any menu and eat steak all the time), this isn't a steak that will wow you. The mussels were so amazing. I would go back just to sit and eat an order of the mussels. I had really enjoyed the bread we got with the meal and was so sad I hadn't saved some to dip in the sauce (I could have asked for more and likely gotten more for free, but didn't need an entire loaf!); I could probably sit there and drink the sauce and be happy!
