  • About a year ago, my gf and I made the mistake of going to a different shop to get our matching tattoos done (infinity heart, seemed simple enough). They came out horrible, which was definitely a surprise since the guy apparently had 14 years of experience under his belt. Well anyway, we needed to get this fixed and was NOT going back to that guy. We ended up at Skin Design and do not regret it. We chose Andy to fix up our tattoos, and I've got to give him a lot of credit because I was a bit difficult from the beginning. I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to get. After going back to the shop 3-4 times with ideas, I finally decided to just cover up my tattoo with a moth and cherry blossoms. Andy was very patient throughout the whole process, and the cover up turned out awesome! Far beyond my expectations. My gf decided on getting a Phoenix bird tatted right next to the infinity heart. Andy cleaned up the heart after finishing up the Phoenix. All we could say was, "Wow!" when we saw it. We reacted in the way that we wish we could have reacted when we first got them done. And the detail on the Phoenix bird.. amazing. Looked just like the picture we showed. We've gone back to get a few more tattoos done by Andy since then. I ended up getting the infinity heart redone by my right shoulder (originally by the left). Blown away by his work each and every time. He pays strong attention to detail and goes out of his way to ensure his clients are happy. Their shop is clean and is full of great artists. If you're having a hard time choosing a tattoo shop.. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
