I went to Winks twice , first was for an eyelash lift and the second one was 3 days ago for an eyelash extension. They are clean and offer good customer service. However, the quality of work is terrible.
I did my eyelash lift with Aisha, she was nice and told me what the process was like. But while she was doing my lashes she kept going back to the reception and the back room doing some work and then comes back and touch my eyes(unhygienic) . After the lift my eyelashes looked ok for a few days but then the texture changes . I wouldn't recommend it
3 days ago I decided to give them another try before I travel and get eyelash extensions ( bad idea). I had Bronwyn do it, I didn't feel any burn or discomfort, she was quick ( took 1 hour only). When Bronwyn finished , I couldn't open my right eye because my top lashes were glued to my bottom one. My eye started tearing because of the incident which will obviously decrease the quality of the glue but nothing was done about it( even though we finished early). As soon as I got home and tried to brush my eyelashes , the eyelashes on my left eye started falling (2 hours after getting them done) . Now its the third day and the lashes on my right eye are also almost gone. They fall when I brush them gently because they weren't added properly. I followed all recommendations, didn't expose my eyelashes to steam, heat or water. I would go to winks to ask them to fix but I'm out of the country right now. This was not worth $240 (187+tax and tip).
Save your money and don't go there!!
