  • This shop defines what it means to be a local business. Highly informed & personable staff. Being completely transparent, I live close to the shop but tried others first based on "who I've heard of" and that was a mistake. After feeling like I didn't know enough to be in other shops. I came to Hodson's and found the guys who wouldn't try to sell me on the hottest commodity, but the guys who wanted to help me find what I wanted. After describing what I was looking for I ended up going with a different carry from what I thought I wanted. not because they upsold me (actually saved me some money) but because what I thought I wanted due to articles & my own research, was off of the target and Daniel was able to not only point me in the right direction, but explain why it was the right choice. Highly recommend this place to anyone from beginner to experienced. The service, honesty & knowledge is unmatched.
