I've been to this theater twice now. It's probably the nicest theater in Calgary with a large number of screens and types of auditoriums -- from standard to 3D -- most with comfy seats. The downsides are it's really crowded on weekends. In fact, lines and waiting is the primary time waster. Last time I circled the parking lot for 20 minutes until we found a space. Once you're inside, the lines for the ticket pick-up machines are always long. There's always an idiot who can't figure out how to work a simple machine holding up the whole line. Then there's lines for concessions. Then lines to get into the auditorium. Then lines in your seat while you watch 30 minutes of commercials and trailers. My other complaint is the movie goers. Seriously, I have never been to a cinema with such quiet audiences. I went to see Star Wars and you could have heard a pin drop -- nobody laughed or cheered or clapped. Then I saw Sisters and again my wife and I were the only people laughing hysterically, I was self-conscience. Granted, we're Americans and we're used to audiences getting all into the movie. Is this a Canada thing? I dont know!
