  • A very nice all-purpose natural history museum. This is not a road-side attraction, but a real museum. It feels quite spacious, not always the case with such places. I could wish for more in the space they do have, though. I do recommend the place despite a couple faults. It has two contradictory problems. In places it's all about the interpretation with little or no identification of what you're looking at. In other places there's identification with no information about what you're seeing, just the name. There seems also a lack of identification of what's authentic versus reproduction vs cast. The big fiberglass shark may not need it, but a lot of other stuff should be identified as to which it is. Despite these nit picks, DO give it a bit of your time if you're in the area and like such museums. I think you'll be rewarded.
