  • Staff was super friendly and nice until I tried to return a $7 phone cord. That's when they tried to tell me that according to their return policy, the product AND THE PACKAGING has to be in "like new condition" or they won't accept the return. I had not used the cord, so no problem there. However, I had opened the package and cut an opening in it so that I could take the cord out. So they said they would not take it back. I then reviewed the language of the return policy on the back of my receipt. It said NOTHING about the packaging having to be in "like new condition", only the product. I pointed this out, and they still refused the return. Ridiculous. So then I threw a fit and asked to speak to the manager. Then they relented and accepted the return. I won't go back here. Wise-up Radio Shack!!
