  • Although this review is mostly about the mobile windshield repair service, I am posting here since this shop was the one that I originally contacted, and that facilitated the service. A couple of months back my windshield got cracked. Being quite busy at work most days, I looked for solutions that would allow me to get it fixed as quickly as possible, and with little inconvenience. Given how they advertise themselves (speedy!!!), and what they claim on their services page, I expected to get the windshield replaced promptly, and without issue. This was definitely not the case. When I contacted this shop, I was referred to their mobile service, since they were evidently too busy to take my car in any time soon. I gladly called, feeling as though it would actually be even more convenient for them to come directly to my place. Upon calling, the customer rep told me that this shop actually WAS available to service my car the next day, so I arranged for this. A few hours later, I receive a call from this shop, who told me they were actually not able to service my car after all...OK. I had to call the mobile repair people back again, who told me they would call us the next morning to let us know what time they would be arriving in the afternoon. The following day, we receive a call informing us they wouldn't be able to come in until the next day...One more day passes, and the service repair guys finally comes in and properly switch out the windshield - or did they?? Nope...apparently the motion sensor on the windshield was not installed properly, and the repair guy blamed the poor quality of the manufacturer. Uhh ok, that doesn't really reflect well on the quality of your product/service either buddy. By this time, the weekend had already arrived, and we needed to wait yet ANOTHER couple days before they could come back in and properly install the windshield. Once another repair guy came, he mistakenly told us that the windshield was fine, and didn't need to be replaced...Not true either. In sum, it took about a week to get my windshield replaced - not so speedy! Fast forward to present day snowy/rainy season, and the motion sensor still doesn't work. Will definitely not be using Speedy again.
