It is the cutest restaurant in Gilbert. Love the decor and branding but we were not blown away by the food or service. The concensus at our table was that the sweet potato and chocolate chip pancakes were awesome, the strawberry shortcake pancake was decent , the blueberry danish pancake needs work (the pecan crumble tasted oddly like bacon), and the corned beef hash was just average. The server was slow, not particularly friendly but attentive. I think they need a few more weeks to work out the kinks. Get there early! We got right in at 7am on a Sunday but there was a 30-45 min wait when we were leaving. The flight of pancakes is an interesting idea for those who like variety, but when you only enjoy one of the 3 it makes for a pricey pancake. Oh and the hot chocolate is just warm chocolate milk. The bill for our table of 4 was about $80...not a great deal for the quality. We wouldn't have minded paying that amount if the food was amazing, but it wasn't. I guess we could all have used a mimosa. ;)
