  • Our relationship with Dekla has been a long one. It started probably 3 years ago when we came into see how much a Scavolini kitchen would cost. We had bought a new condo, and the developer Sorbara had swapped out the itlalian made Scavolini kitchen in their model suite for a local alternative. We were told that it was because Scavolini couldn't meet the deadlines, but we learned from Dekla that the developer had called and requested a bulk discount, which was denied. After that Dekla never heard from them again. So when we came to Dekla and explained what we were told by the developer the sales person explained the real situation, then offered us a 20% discount out of spite for what the developer had done. I love when anyone gives a discount out of spite. Good on Dekla! So it took 3 years for the kitchen because we had to wait for the building to register, then we were waiting until we had the extra coin for the kitchen which we ultimately ended up doing in 2 phases. Any delays were our fault, and Dekla was great when it came to accommodating us with tweaks to the design. When we had the final part of the kitchen installed there was an issue with the height of one of the cabinets. It was an error that everyone had missed with regards to how much room the cabinet would leave for the microwave rangehood to clear the stove top. Dekla came and got the cabinet, modified it and reinstalled it. And it should be noted, they honoured that 20% discount given 3 years earlier. Bottom line, they were super professional, super helpful and very accommodating. You add to that the fact they offer a sleak sexy product and I can't help but recommend them. Especially the woman who helped us, Davida. Go get a kitchen from her.
