| - I wish there was a negative star. Nite Tours was the biggest waste of $39 in my life. And to think people in our tour group paid the normal $99 (we got ours through a deal on TravelZoo)! I felt terrible for the bride and groom who signed up thinking they were going to get a great deal and party it up on their wedding night! Where do I even begin?
Nite Tours was marketed as a way to get into the hottest, new nightclubs without cover and without a wait as well as "open bar" with "beer, wine and champagne" on the party bus between venues. The day before our scheduled tour, we called to confirm and were told our meeting place was no longer at the Aria, but rather the Chateau at Paris, but the remainder of the itinerary was the same. Our original lineup was:
Saturday
Check-In: Deuce Lounge @ Aria
1st Nightclub: Haze @ Aria
2nd Nightclub: 1Oak @ Mirage
3rd Nightclub: Moon @ Palms
So where did we actually go when we checked in?!
Check-in: By the way, did we tell you, you have to tip us the cost of a drink per person? Oh, and don't puke. That will cost you $500. And we're going to leave you if you're not to our meeting space within 3 minutes of our meet time, but I'm not actually going to give you directions about where we're meeting. Cool! Chateau @ Paris 9:30-10:40 p.m.
1st Nightclub: Hey gang! We're just going to move inside now by ourselves into a completely empty club for at least another hour! Chateau @ Paris 10:40-11:50 p.m.
2nd Nightclub: Well, we really don't have the hookup at these cool clubs, so we're going to take you to the trashy, stale cigarette smoke-filled Caesars! Climb onto this party bus where we have too many people in our group so like, 5 or so of you are going to have to stand. And look! A cooler filled with Coors Light for the guys and Smirnoff Ice for the girls! I think there's Andre and some solo cups inside. Pure @ Caesars 12:10-12:50 a.m.
3rd Nightclub: So... we can't actually go to the next club quite yet. We're just not going to be able to get you in, so let's walk around the casino in Caesars and then go to this jazz bar for like 10 minutes. Oh, now we can go! All aboard the party bus for some cranberry juice shots! Don't forget to tip and by the way, we're driving you away from the Strip and then you'll have to pay for a cab for your own way back! Tootles. Moon @ Palms 1:30-2 a.m.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! With this type of treatment, you're not drinking your $39 or hell, even $99, worth of Coors and Smirnoff. Plus, as a lady, we could have gotten ourselves into all the original clubs on our own for free!
