  • If you want to learn some patience and aren't too fond of great customer service, stay here. I booked a suite back in January for my bachelorette weekend that happened April 25. As a local, I picked the Flamingo for me and my girlfriends to stay because of its central location and the "Forever Fabulous" suite was just perfect for our theme. It's pink details throughout the room and spacious floor plan were just what we were looking for. When I had spoken to a lead guest services rep in January I had specified that we needed two roll aways in our room and she assured me that would be no problem. I called again earlier this month to reconfirm my reservation and again made sure the note was on my confirmation about the roll away requests. It was. We arrived around 11:30 knowing our room might not be ready but decided to see about checking in early and getting some pool keys anyway. The line was SO long. We waited over thirty minutes just to check. Of course the room was not ready so the woman let us know to check back but gave us some pool keys. We checked back around 3:30 and the room still was not ready. (It is supposed to be ready by 4:00 pm) Once again at 4pm we checked in, they told us the room was ready, but when we went to go try the room key it did not work. May I also mention right now that their elevator system is HORRIBLE! Six elevators and every time we needed one it was a solid fifteen minute wait! This took us an extra 30 minutes just to get in our suite!! When we entered the room we noticed there were no roll away beds. We called the front desk over TEN times to try and get someone to bring them up! They transferred us, put us on hold and then hung up on us each time. We finally gave up. At check out good luck trying to get a bell hop to help you bring your bags down. We called for that to and they told us 45 minutes to an hour wait. How are you supposed to check out on time if you can't even get your bags downstairs?? Another twenty minute wait for the elevator and four trips downstairs to get all of our luggage down. We headed over to valet to pick up my car and waited another thirty minutes! We had reservations at noon for brunch for 10 girls at another hotel and we were an hour late for it. This was completely out of my control. I was more than disappointed with the quality of service, delay of absolutely everything we needed, and what we asked for we did not receive. I have family and friends coming in for my wedding in October and I will not be recommending this hotel. The only way they could remedy this weekend would be to give me a refund.
