| - Ok, regardless of whether you like NYC thin crust or Chicago deep dish, THERE IS NO GOOD PIZZA IN MADISON. PERIOD. NADA. NONE. NOWHERE. THE PIZZA IN MADISON SUCKS.
Now, that I have that off my chest, I cannot live without pizza. So, a compromise is necessary. You're going to have to settle.
We get Ian's plain cheese pizza. Never tried any of their crazy flavors and never will; they're pure heresy. And I've never eaten there. We always get it delivered or take out.
All of that being said, this is the only edible pizza in Madison. Glass Nickel sucks. Roman Candle? Only in a pinch. Lombardino's isn't even worth considering. Greenbush? Funny, I don't remember ordering charcoal as a topping.
So, this is the best you can do here. One of the great tragedies of living in Madison. (So, what is the best pizza in the world? John's on Bleecker St. in Manhattan, of course, but they don't deliver.)
