Went for dinner on a Tuesday evening, didn't know what to expect based on reviews that were all over the place. What we 4 noticed was a reasonable number of other folks enjoying themselves on a sweltering summer Scottsdale evening. Now onto what's important:
-the food was great; tasty, authentic, not cookie cutter Indian (probably because this is S. Indian food), as good as other out of town restaurants we've sampled
-Dosa were tasty, fresh, even vegetarian; other dishes as well.
-service and atmosphere were fine, friendly and competent
-only downside is no liquor license ("yet") so no Kingfisher with our meal
-only other downside is my inability to remember the name, so it's now the "Palace Place on the north side of Shea near the 101"
-Dinner for 4 hungry adults was about $75 before tip
We'll be back!
