  • I've been to several tanning salons in Toronto, but this one is by far my fave!! I moved to the annex in the fall and needed to find a nearby place to get my tan on. I googled tanning salons in the area and came across Agi's hair & tanning. The fact that it is a hair salon AND tanning salon had me assume that it isn't the best place to get a tan... But boy was I mistaken! To start, it's a family run business and they are the sweetest people ever! So friendly, always happy, genuinely nice people! They make you feel more than welcome and are actually very knowledgeable about what they're selling. They went the extra mile to ensure that I had a safe tanning experience. Actually, more so than places that only specialize in tanning. Ok, so after the correct bed was assigned I went to the room (I did a basic standup to start) The decor is soooooo cute! Very tropical, nicely decorated and CLEAN!! Now, the bed itself... I was astonished! The basic standup in this place looked like a premium bed I used at my previous tanning salon. My tan felt amazing, so after I finished I knew this was the place for me. I purchased a month unlimited on the basic bed, initially, for $60. Decent price. I told the lady that I have psoriasis and a bed with a higher UVB light really helps. So, for $5 more I upgraded to a more powerful bed. Omg! This bed is effing amazing!!! After a few visits my friends were asking where I went on vacation. They were floored when I told them that it was from a tanning salon. My skin turned a nice dark brown and not that orange colour you see on some tanorexics. Ok... Gushed about this place enough, but if you're in need of a tanning salon in the annex this is the place! For real. My only advice is don't go if you are in a hurry. There's been a couple times when I tried to squeeze in a tan before work and was late. The front desk sweet heart loves to chat... Yet so do I, so it was well worth it. I don't know her name, buy she is so so SO sweet and I've found myself chatting for nearly 1/2 an hour with her. Happy tanning!
