I searched the intenet around valentines day & found out about this place. Loved that she was trying to leave something for her daughter so I decided to give it a try & show my support. Went for my first visit around noon & was warmly greeted by the owner. The place is very cute but very small. I looked up her website before going with an idea of what I wanted to order but when I got there 3/4 were gone by NOON! which sucked for me, but I thought was a good sign of the quality. I felt pressured to order quickly as the customer behind me kept trying to order above me, & since there wasn't much left, I quickly took half a dozen of things I didn't want. One was the oreo buttercream & everything else was regular icing. I thought they were pretty small for the price but I still wanted to support the cause. The oreo was the only good one, that other icing was disgusting!!! it tasted like cheap icing from desserts at the buffet!!! I ended up removing it from each cupcakes & tried to eat them without. Sadly, the quality of the cake mix was not great either...very dry. I paid 20$ for 6 very small cupcakes if that gives you an idea. I figured all the decent ones were sold out quickly. I went to my local sobeys couple weeks later & found triple sizes of cupcakes at fresh bakery counter for cheaper & they were very moist, very good!
I think what she is doing is great which is why I don't want to give 1 star, but I don't think I will be back. The cupcakes were way too small for the price, looked like something anyone could have done at home & unless you can buy the buttercream ones early in the morning before they sell out, I personally didn't think the others were worth the money especially when I found better quality, bigger & cheaper at a grocery.
