rev:text	Ok, this unfortunately is going to be a long one. My friend and I were in town over the weekend and we wanted to get pedicures and full sets. She got on Instagram and looked through polished page and found a set that she really fell in love with. I guess technically they're called unicorn nails but one of the nails had like a 3D swirl on it. So she called polished and ensured that they could do this design and referred to the posting on their Instagram before setting our appointments. The lady who answered the phone said yes they could and my friend double checked and asked her again, "you know what I'm talking about right"? And she said yes. So we went ahead and made our appointments and went in. We started with our pedicures picked out our colors and had nice service there. I wish I could say it stayed nice, my toenails started to chip the second day. It's less than two weeks later and my big toe is severely chipped. It's the worst pedicure paint job I've ever had. Anyway back to our appointments, after our toes were done we went and sat our tables to get our nails done. She showed her Tech the picture she wanted and she was told that she could not do that. She told her she called and asked and they said that there would be a tech available. Apparently there was nobody available who could do that design so my friend had to speak with management and they did nothing for her. So she did not get her nails done there, she chose to go elsewhere. Once it was my turn, I showed my tech a picture of coffin matte pink and white ombre faded nails. Of course my price was about $30 more than what I was quoted on the phone. My friend had told them I wanted coffin pink and white Ombre with a matte top coat no gems and they said that the set would be $40. After I arrived and already had my toes done to set went up to $70. Apparently the littlest things cost more money, like the shape was an extra $5 the top coat was an extra $10 I don't even remember the exact prices but it was all ridiculous. I talked to management and explained that's not what I was quoted and she said that she can give me 10% off for being a new customer but that's it. Whatever. I just went ahead and got on with it. He did a decent job on the shape of the nails however the paint job was less decent. The sides of my nails are showing visible white paint that were not faded out. The acrylic did not get near my cuticles and I mentioned to him are you going to fill that part (because it's supposed to be a hairline distance). He said that when he puts the gel on top of it, it'll fill that part in. And he tried to put a gloss top coat. When I asked if it was matte he said no and I said I wanted matte. He said no that won't look good. I said well the picture I showed you was matte remember? And he proceeded to explain why I shouldn't do it that way. I told him to do it anyway and he did. After my nails were done I noticed that the gel top coat did not feel that part in and there was still a nice gap between my cuticles and the acrylic. I left the nails on for about a week before I took them off. Went and got acetone, tin foil, and a wooden scraper and took them off myself. Now the service for both nails and toes was about $100. My tech was actually really nice even though he was not very talented. I'll never return. WE will never go back.
