  • I went into LaVie Nails today with my Groupon. They sat me down at the pedicure chair THEN told me that they didn't show my appointment on the books, and therefore would not honor my Groupon. The funny thing was that every one of the pedicure chairs were empty - it's not like I was encroaching on anyone else's appointment. There was only one person there getting a manicure - totally dead, and they still wouldn't honor my pedicure Groupon. Obviously, I left - I wasn't about to pay them for a pedicure, when I'd already paid for the Groupon. It was probably a blessing in disguise. The pedicure chair was dirty and the vinyl was split all over - I can only imagine the condition of their implements. Perhaps I saved myself more trouble. What a poor business decision on their part, though.
