| - I heard about this place through a friend and had to check it out. Being a recent transplant from FL I was excited to find an icecream shop that offered icecream made in front of you with nitrogen and such. I had a place like this back home which was amazing so couldn't wait to check out Creamistry. Stopped by on a weekday evening and upon walking in I noticed their menu and knew immediately I'd be ordering their "chocolate combustion" as I am a chocoholic at heart! My gf ordered their coffee flavored icecream with caramel topping. We were super excited for the first bite so here goes. Coffee icecream is ridiculously creamy and good all around, wow! Did not need anything else, it was probably the best coffee icecream I've ever tried. As for my "Chocolate combustion" it's a combo of chocolate icecream with chocolate chips, brownie, and fudge so super chocolatey! I honestly could not truly appreciate the texture and creaminess upfront because of all the stuff it had, however as it melted I realized the icecream on it's own is fantastic, it's got a creaminess that you can't get anywhere else, not even gelato. I found that as much as I LOVE chocolate this probably would've been better simply on it's own without any toppings at all. I'd also like to say that the brownie needs to go because it detracted from this decadent dessert overall. It simply tastes like cheap, packaged brownies from a gas station, it was not good (the brownie, at all). Aside from this it was dee-lish. Mind you I feel this shop has lower stars based on 2 things: the price & the waiting time. Personally I do feel that at $17 for our 2 icecreams, it's a bit much and most definitely a treat. It is not my every weekend icecream place for sure. As for the waiting, I'd say during the week it's fine. After we placed our order there was a sudden group of 8 that came in and 3 more stragglers so I suppose on the weekends it can get super crazy. Is it worth waiting 20min in line for their icecream? I don't know, that's up to you. Personally I'm glad I tried it though and will be back on special occasions when I'm in the area.
