  • i am writing this review way behind my visit. two years honestly. why would i write a review now? well let me share. I went to americas best because my eyes were bothering me and i figured i needed glasses for the first time in my life. i did a visual field test which the worker said i did so bad it seemed unbelievable. i went through everything and they said "i think you need a light prescription and you will be feeling much better" it seems obvious but it was all about a sale, they were pretty much cheaters i could have gotten at the dollar store. i wore the glasses for a few months but then my eyes randomly seemed better and i ditched them. fast forward 2 years and my eyes started to bug me again, i went to a different place and they referred me to a specialist, turns out it had been optic neuritis and my optic nerve was swollen for over two years which resulted in partial blindness permanently. Thanks for not mentioning what would have been seen by a prodessional, i am so disgusted by this business for not addressing any abnormalities and only caring about a sale.
