  • I went to this place about 3 years ago-same deal. $100 tat...only he charges around $130 for the fucked up job he did on my tatoo. I should've just left. Afterall the place smelled like cat piss & cat shit.. His family was in there which seemed to make him nervous- not only did he brag about what a big shot he was, but his hand profusely shook, and he mentioned halfway thru the tat that he was also mentally ill. Which doesn't matter to me, but it's not something you just mention while you're trying to focus on tattooing someone. Needless to say the tattoo was really shitty & totally unfinished. It had lines missing in it, and it lacked any kind of detail that I specificied I wanted in the beginning. I had to spend another $100 just to get it fixed somewhere else. Sure they have nice clothes in there for sale-which by the way are highly overpriced! But I'm guessing that's how he pays his lease on the property, because his tattooing skills definately aren't paying the bills! DON'T GO HERE!!! If you're smart, like I wasn't at the time, you will just go somewhere else! May I suggest Club Tattoo on the border of Mesa & Tempe ask for Joey Carbajal. He did a beautiful job on my newest tat that I got last year. Such detail! It's beautiful! I've had so many complements on it as well. As for this tool at After Dark- I'm thinking he needs to shut his shit down for the safety of the public.
