I hadn't been here since the renovation, and I loved the feel of the space inside. The exhibits are well curated and I especially loved the salon-style display of the mid to late 1800s works.
Basically, the AGO has something for everyone, as long as you are an art fan! And even if you are dragged here, you'll still come out having seen something you've liked. Or that you hated, which is sometimes more interesting.
I would rate it 5 stars but regular admission is pricey. I understand the differences regarding foot traffic, funding, and so on, but it doesn't change the fact that it costs less to get in to the Louvre.
