  • Severely overhyped. We ordered from the counter, which I suppose is the only saving grace, as eating in would only have prolonged the tsuris. It's like a smaller, less delicious, and more cranky Katz's Deli. I don't give a damn about cranky (I've been a New Yorker for most of my adult life), but if you're going to pull some b.s. attitude, please have some knockout product to show for it. Schwartz's does not. Montreal has more top-notch food than you can fit in your belly in a year, and none of it is here. Keep walking.
