  • Quiet, dark, cozy, classy, great cocktails. This is one of my favorite conversation bars. It's definitely best to go earlier than later, as this can get loud and packed late at night. Sometimes they have LOUD DJ's spinning, in which case I pretend that I walked into the wrong upstairs bar and leave immediately. Nothing like sipping a scotch neat while being deafened by music made for 12 year old girls. I give it four stars instead of five because, if they have a DJ, it is a horrible place, and it's kind of lame to have to call ahead and ask before going. Don Draper wouldn't have had to call and ask if there is a DJ spinning :-/
