  • Bought an LG fridge for $1800, showed up and the ice maker didn't work. Called HD they told me to call LG. Called LG they sent a guy out to repair it. Took it apart, cleaned it all out and put it back together. Said wait 24 hours for more ice. 48 hrs later, no ice. Called HD again told them I wanted a new fridge, this one is obviously a lemon. Lady in appliances not very helpful so I got a manager, Dave. Dave said he was going to make some calls and get right back to me, never heard from him, but LG called to say they were sending a tech out to repair it. Called manager Dave back and said I don't want a tech, they already came out once and didn't fix anything, I want a new fridge. He said they have to send a guy out, I said you already sent a guy out, what makes the new guy any better than the last guy. I explained they leave without knowing if it's fixed cause it needs 24 hrs to make ice so I've been without ice for 2 weeks and we're going into week 3. Manager Dave said he'd see about getting someone out today and call me back. Never heard from manager Dave but a repair company called and said they needed me to take pictures of my fridge and if they had an ice maker they'd come out on Monday and replace it. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. Go to an appliance store where they will stand by the stuff they sell. Once HD puts in your house they don't care anymore. They don't stand behind what they sell and leave you with the broken junk.
