My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon - only part because after three nights we couldn't stand it any more. We left and went directly to the Cosmopolitan and had a fantastic experience.
Room was old-fashioned, smelled bad and was damaged upon arrival. Had only the most basic amenities and when I asked the front desk to deliver a couple of forgotten toiletries they said I would have to check the gift shop myself.
Concierge was unhelpful when we tried to book tickets for a show and get reservations for Gordon Ramsay Steak.
Tried to speak to a manager about our experience and were left standing in the front lobby for about 15 minutes waiting before we had to leave for a show we booked ourselves through the Cosmo's concierge.
To top it all off, we received an outrageous $1700 room damage charge on our bill after we left. We assume it was for some of the damages that we noticed during our stay, so we went to speak to a manager the same day. Eric was unable to give us any details about the charge because he wasn't the acting manager that morning. Since then I have spoken to multiple hotel managers and not one of them has been helpful or is able to show us the damage we were charged for.
We now have to go through an extensive dispute process with our credit card company in order to get this resolved.
Waste of time and money.
