| - The concept of Skateland is fun, however it appears the only employees they hire for admission and food service are stoned 10 year olds with absolutely no concept of customer service or ability to problem solve or think. The referees on the floor are attentive. You would think that a business in which there is an inherent risk (and likelihood) of injury would have very good first aid training for their staff and a well established protocol for injuries. In fact the opposite is true. They have no concept of first aid, how to manage a situation, or any procedures for when injuries occur. They don't even have a first aid kit on site! (but have no fear, they've got..... bandaids!) We watched a woman fall head first and have serious injury to her head and eye socket. The employees were told "don't touch her" and were more concerned with cleaning up the blood while the lady sat there bleeding than providing any sort of first aid. Other customers had to administer first aid, call and ambulance, calm her children, and contact her husband, she was only provided towels after another customer demanded them twice, they would have been happy to watch her bleed and clean up the blood as it hit the floor. The employees did not do a thing, not even close down the area and remove all guests. I realize it is not their fault she was injured, but it would be wise to implement policies and procedures and have somebody trained in First Aid on site at all times.
