I've been coming here with my son for a couple years to get his monthly blood draws. Under normal circumstances, we schedule the appointment ahead of time but due to a snafu with their website we had to come in today unscheduled and wait to be seen.
I anticipated there would be a lot of people waiting as well so I made sure to get him there before they opened so we could hopefully be in and out and I could get him to school on time. What I didn't expect was the behavior of the other people who showed up AFTER us to try and get in early, too. We had not one but 3 people easily in their 80s (I bring up their age to illustrate how they should have known better) cut in front of us in line and one of them had the audacity to say he'd "knock me out" if I attempted to dispute his nonsense! I'm a large man in my late 30s and couldn't believe he'd say that out loud within earshot of a guy who could effortlessly punch THROUGH him if he had to.
I'm leaving two stars because prior to this I've had nothing but good experiences here in the past but today made me wish I could leave zero. when I mentioned the old man's behavior to the technician, she just stared at me blankly like she was hypnotized - i didn't get an apology or any reaction at all! Labcorp needs to put some policy in place to punish people who act so childishly, whether it's making them wait longer or denying them service altogether. Their staff could also benefit from some kind of empathy training.
