  • Fabulous useful used bookstore on Park rd, South Charlotte! I enjoyed all my visits to the Book Rack, near Food Lion and 51 on Park Rd. If you like bargains, call and ask them to find a book and they're so friendly to keep it on file & follow up if they have to track it down for you. The prices are usually about half for newer NYT bestseller books. If you're a book lover like me, you can trade books and get store credit for some books. If they want to trade, your store credit counts for a partial percentage and then you have to pay the other amount. For example, if the book is $10 and I have used store credit for a few dollars, then I pay approximately $6 for the rest of the price. They focus on high traffic genres like mysteries, romance, sci-fi, NYT bestsellers. Also they have a good children's book section in the back I find useful for gifts.
