  • I entered the University of Phoenix in 2009 for a teaching credential. Worst move I could have made. I finished the program in 2012, but with much regret I discovered that the school did not transfer the knowledge nor the skills needed for this career. It is now 2016, and I am still working on passing the TPA-4 and RICA. I am teaching myself through research on the internet and working as a substitute. If you are not sure about this school, attend one of their classes and see how ineffective their instructors are. Do not commit, unless you already know what you need to know and are only jumping through hoops to get a certificate.
